You’re ready to collaborate with some of the top names in Silicon Valley on a daily basis, and you’ve got plenty of ideas to make their companies even stronger… but you’re also ready to guide a brand new startup towards its first million in sales. You have a particular knack for working with SaaS and B2B clients, and in helping companies of any size to scale up quickly, yet sustainably.


You love going to conferences (we go to a lot of conferences) and representing a company with a great reputation, and you’re an ace at helping the business development team close important sales. You’re also no stranger when it comes to recruiting and retaining the best talent in the world.

If all of that sounds like you, we want to talk about bringing you in as the leader of our marketing team here at Redstamp! You’ll set our strategy for how, what, and why people are working on things in marketing. You’ll lead exciting new internal products from scratch, including user research, website, product designs/briefs and leadership.

We’re a hybrid agency that specializes in high-conversion design and marketing projects for fast-growing technology companies while also building our own in-house digital products. We’re a mix of entrepreneurs, tech geeks, innovators, and creatives—most of us are a little bit of each—and we’re passionate about making this company the absolute best there is.


Our team is a unique blend of creativity and industry knowledge. We hire people based on merit, past experience, and potential. Some of our employees have no formal training but have grit and perseverance, which matter even more. It’s nice to have a degree, but that’s not what will get you through our door! We evaluate our team members on experience and what they bring to the table.

We’re growing fast, and with that, we’re building out our team. This is a replacement role that will primarily influence our marketing department, though you’ll be working closely with our founders and other members of the C-team as well.


Your chief responsibility will be leading our team of creative contributors, working alongside our content creators, designers, and developers as we work to bring great results to our clients.


What you’ll be doing:


  • Developing marketing, outreach, and engagement strategies

  • Conducting content audits, and crafting content strategies

  • Conducting user and stakeholder research

  • Pitching clients 

  • Running high importance campaigns

  • Leading a team of junior marketers to implement on the strategies you create

  • Growing the marketing team

  • Coaching and training your team


Requirements

Qualifications: (Not all are hard requirements, but the more you have the better! There is a huge opportunity for you to grow with us as well).


  • Passion for telling stories on the web, via video, websites, and branding

  • Competent and confident in creating website briefs for internal products based on communication from the CEO

  • Extremely technical marketing expertise: brand guides/guidelines for public companies, personal development/target customer work, market research

  • Experience pitching/selling to C-level executives and selling your vision to others, and the skills to mentor your team in this as well

  • Able to source, compile, and compare metrics for clients, setting goals and optimizing for results

  • Comfortable representing the company publicly at events and presentations, and in building your reputation as an industry expert

  • Comfortable working PR channels and finding opportunities for our company and our clients

  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams: working with design and development leaders and team-members in-house to create work that is efficient and effective on all levels - design, tech, and marketing

Bonus points awarded for:


  • Experience working with B2B/SaaS companies worth over 500M, especially companies based out of Silicon Valley

  • Expertise in Hubspot or other CRMs/marketing automation systems

  • Sales experience, including comfort in setting up sales metrics, lead qualification, and lead scoring, both internally and for clients

  • Confidence in building up a copywriting and content team - bonus if you have content strategy experience for B2B/SaaS

Required Skills and Experience:


  • Experience working in an agency or freelance for 2+ years, and delivering work to clients

  • Experience in building up a team (we want to grow your marketing team to 10 people within 2 years) and managing/empowering them to do their role at a high level

  • 3+ years’ experience in marketing for B2B/SaaS (agency or not)
