Senior Marketing Strategist

Job description

Join our team as a Full-Time Senior Marketing Strategist and help leading innovators tell their stories. If that sounds like a challenge you’re up for, we want to hear your story.

And not the one from your resume. Resumes tell us what you’ve done, but they don’t tell us why. Why do you love what you do? Why might Redstamp provide you with what’s been missing from your past jobs? Forget the cover letter and send us a response to our questions.

Redstamp is a growth agency composed of entrepreneurs, tech geeks, innovators and creatives - most of us are a little bit of each - specializing in brand, go-to-market strategy, product design and customer acquisition for high-growth technology companies. Read more about us below.

A typical day in the life of a Senior Marketing Strategist:

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to join Redstamp as the most senior marketing figure in the company. Reporting directly to the CEO you will spend your days crafting strategy for (mostly) SaaS/Tech companies on key things like:

  • Content Strategy (full spectrum video, written, social and distribution)
  • Persona Development
  • Demand Generation (This is a huge part of what our clients expect from us)
  • Automation (Hubspot + Others)
  • Understand how to manage SEO + PPC (not necessarily execute)

Operating completely remote right now (typically out of our sparkling new HQ in Port Moody), you will be part of a hungry team of four marketers tasked with helping some of the world’s leading tech and SaaS companies scale their operations.

This role is equal parts inspiration and execution, an opportunity for the right person to flex their creative muscles while shaping the marketing landscape for Redstamp and our clients.

Requirements

Who are we looking for?

  • We’re looking to bring in a ringer, someone on a superstar trajectory who has a track record of success in the b2b/SaaS space and a passion for working with the companies within it.
  • In order to service our clients and fit in with our team of functional perfectionists, we’re looking for someone with a full arsenal of abilities.
  • That someone should be entrepreneurial, experimentative, organized, and above all, adaptable.
  • Alongside exceptional time management, whip-smart writing, and impeccable communication skills, the right candidate will have a great vision to conceive holistic plans and how to bring them to life.

Technical skills:

  • 3+ or more years of professional project management experience within a marketing department or creative agency
  • 5+ or more years of professional experience in marketing
  • Have played in the b2b / SaaS space previously
  • Have worked as a freelancer or within an agency environment (it helps if you have felt the pain of an agency before, so you can understand what we are trying to build)
  • Have access to previous work and explain how you drove ROI/I

Must to haves:

  • Insanely good at writing for conversion
  • Data-driven
  • A wizard with words
  • Already sipping the Hubspot Koolaid and fully immersed into their product world

Working for Redstamp, you’ll find value in:

  • A competitive salary and comprehensive medical and dental benefits plan
  • Receive coaching and support from a manager that is invested in your future
  • Opportunities to work on global tech brands and products
  • Financial support for advanced training, personal development, and career development
  • A flexible working environment (we did remote before it was cool)

Our Commitment to Inclusion:

We know that there are great candidates out there that don’t meet every single requirement we’ve listed above, and research shows that marginalized groups tend to apply for jobs only when they meet the criteria exactly. If this role sounds like it was made for you, please apply. Redstamp welcomes all applicants regardless of race, gender, orientation, sexual identity, economic class, ability, disability, age, religious beliefs or disbeliefs, or status. We believe that different perspectives and backgrounds are what make a company flourish and we welcome you!

Our team is diverse and geographically distributed across Canada and around the world. This role offers a flexible work environment; you can work from our Port Moody Office (we’re close to the Inlet Skytrain), work fully remote, or a combination of both. This opportunity is only open to candidates within Canada at this time.

If all of this resonates with you, please apply by January 31, 2021. We can’t wait to meet you!
